Back to the OP....... I'm currently bringing my sapling on aka the idiot by letting him just follow my older dog and generally standing in a muddy field shouting till I'm red in the face and he decide

For one, all you anti-shooting brigade should have a word with yourselves. If a man wants to shoot a hare then what's the difference wether it's a rabbit, fox, hare or deer. If he's a shooting man he can shoot what takes his fancy.

 

For two, hares need controlling like anything else. Otherwise you lose the permission. It's illegal to run them with dogs. But it's not illegal to shoot them and let the dogs retrieve them. Thus giving the dogs some stimulation and excersise.

 

For three, if you can't read between the lines and figure out what's going on in the game then perhaps you would be better on the play station than on here. Much safer for you.
